Job Description:
Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Plant Clean Up to join our TEAM! As the Plant Clean Up, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as using high pressure washers, driving the floor sweeper, picking up debris, trash and keeping plant and floors clean. This position will work 6:00 am – 2:30pm Monday thru Friday.
Primary Objective:
- Helps maintain a clean, safe workplace.
Major Function and Scope - Picks up trash and debris.
- Cleans work areas.
- Clean and maintain eye wash stations.
- Runs & maintains floor sweeper.
- Uses high pressure water hoses for cleaning.
- Uses air wands for cleaning.
- Sweep and shovel material spills while wearing required PPE.
- Performs other related duties such as assisting in loading and unloading trucks and tagging material on those trucks.
- Help maintain accurate inventory.
- Change brushes and cleaning out floor scrubber as needed.
Experience and Knowledge Required
1-year previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Competencies
Able to be forklift certified. Good oral and writtenmunications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.
