Full-Time Position Overview:

A growing home care agency is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scheduler to support scheduling operations for non-medical in-home care services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to ensuring timely and accurate staff assignments for clients throughout Fairfield County.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage incoming client referrals and promptly initiate the scheduling process Schedule caregivers based on availability, client preferences, and geographic location Communicate schedules and changes clearly to caregivers, clients, and families Monitor daily schedules for gaps or no-shows and resolve issues as they arise Maintain visit verification and electronic documentation through Sandata/Santrax systems Provide exceptional customer service to clients, families, and staff Keep accurate records of all scheduling activities and communications Support compliance with agency standards and administrative procedures

Required Skills & Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Working knowledge of Sandata or Santrax preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment Fluency in Spanish is required

Education & Experience:

High school diploma required; college coursework preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or home care scheduling role Experience with Medicaid-funded services or electronic visit verification a plus
