Full Job Description Job Summary:

GalaxyCon is a festival of fandom that celebrates comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, cosplay, and more. GalaxyCon is more than a comic-con, it’s a galaxy of fun! We are looking for a reliable and friendly Customer Service Coordinator to join our team and help us provide excellent service and support to our customers, fans, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support :

Help customers with placing orders, choosing the right product categories, navigating our website, and troubleshooting issues.

Order Update s:

Communicate with fulfillment, merchandise, and other departments to resolve customer issues and provide timely updates.

Invoicing & Payments :

Send invoices for special services (like CGC or personalization) and follow up until payment is received.

Event Communication :

Use the Eventeny platform to answer questions about events, tickets, and show logistics.

Social Media Monitoring :

Respond to comments and questions on platforms like Facebook in a professional manner.

Shipping Info Managemen t:

Keep the master address list updated and ensure customer info is accurate before shipping.

Order Follow-Up :

Review past Shopify orders to confirm all have been fulfilled and contact customers if there are delays.

Live Event Support :

Help set up and work the info booth. Provide assistance with accessibility, lost & found, press/panel check-in, and special event check-ins. Guide attendees with event schedules, maps, and policies. Handle ticket exchanges or refunds calmly and clearly if there are guest changes. Stay on top of social media and email during events to answer urgent questions. Assist in booth breakdown and help other departments after the show. Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, or higher education in customer service, business, or related field. At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the entertainment or convention industry. Proficient in Shopify, Eventeny, Facebook, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and other online sales and customer service tools and software. Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and project management abilities A passion for comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, cosplay, and more A willingness and ability to travel to GalaxyCon events, which may require working on weekends and holidays We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
