Position status:
Salaried position- Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm Reports to:
Pilot Shop Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop astrong working knowledge of all our products and how they are utilized Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and ensuring theiron-line purchases are seamless. Laying out, planning, and managing projects from start to finish, including launches, program management, the introduction of new revenue sources and website updates. Responsible for enhancing customers’ experience, developing solutions to exceed customers’ expectations, and ensure customer loyalty. Visit customers to generate proposals and nurture relationships to showcase our products and how we can be an extension of their business by saving them time by having all products in one location. Introduce customers to other Banyan departments promoting the pilot shop, maintenance, avionics, parts, and Jet Runway Caf if they operate aircraft. Provide quotes for FBO Essentials products. Assist with sales and marketing strategies, developing new promotional products. Attend trade shows and events as directed by the Pilot Shop manager. Perform cold calls to non-customers and track all calls, assist with collections when needed. Work with Banyan’s Pilot Shop Team, marketing team and Avfuel’s marketing to promote the brand. Represent the company in aprofessional manner to include but not limited to having aclean and neat appearance, a positive attitude, be punctual andreliable, and a willingness to support the customer. Meet with Pilot Shop Manager biweekly to stay current with events, issues or opportunities and debrief with department head.
Required skills:
Requiresstrong customer service skills and sales experience Must have strong communication skills, written and oral Three to five years in the aviation industry experience preferred Must have a proven track record in both sales and management . Computer literate in all Microsoft Office Products (Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook) Bi-lingual English with Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus.
