Summary As an Ambassador at The Escalante, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your role is crucial in enhancing the overall guest experience and maintaining our reputation for outstanding service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out processes. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences. Assist with reservations, room assignments, and special requests to enhance guest experiences. Answer phones, convey guest messages, advise guest of their mail, fax, etc. Quote and sell rates. Process cancellations, revisions and changes. Show suites and event spaces to prospective guests. Work on multiple projects; assisting event coordinator and purchasing department. . Book on site restaurant reservations for members and hotel guests. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the property. Requirements Communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to problem solve in a high-pressure environment Excellent personal presentation, interpersonal skills, professional telephone etiquette, computer competency Compliance with company grooming, appearance and attire standards. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Frequent standing behind the desk and in lobby areas. A minimum of five years experience in Five Star Hotels.
