Job Summary:
The Client Success Manager is responsible for building strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving long-term retention and growth. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on client management. You’ll be the client’s main advocate within our company, helping them achieve their goals while ensuring mutual value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Client Management Develop and execute success plans that align with each client’s business objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor. Understand client goals, challenges, and opportunities to drive product adoption and strategic alignment. Client Engagement & Travel Travel to client sites as needed to lead partnership reviews, business updates, and key meetings. Present insights, performance data, and strategic recommendations during onsite and virtual check-ins. Develop relationships that go beyond day-to-day operations to position the client as a long-term partner. Onboarding & Adoption Manage the onboarding process for new clients, working closely with implementation teams to ensure a smooth rollout. Drive product adoption through tailored training, education, and support. Performance Monitoring & Optimization Monitor client health using data and usage metrics to identify risks or areas for improvement. Conduct regular business reviews to discuss results, gather feedback, and realign as needed. Issue Management Act as the primary point of contact for any client issues or escalations. Collaborate with internal support and product teams to drive timely resolution. Account Growth & Advocacy Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on client needs and engagement. Partner with Sales on account strategy and expansion efforts. Work to make clients referenceable by delivering value, earning trust, and identifying key advocates. Internal Collaboration Coordinate with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to represent client needs internally. Share client feedback and insights to inform roadmap planning and process improvements. Reporting & Insights Track and report on client KPIs, including satisfaction, engagement, and retention. Provide clear, concise updates to leadership and relevant teams.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Management, or related field; MBA a plus. 7+ years in client success, account management, or a similar role managing enterprise clients.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong relationship-building and executive communication skills Proven experience managing complex accounts Proficient in CRM and client success platforms Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into strategy Collaborative and comfortable managing multiple priorities
