Job Description

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Transactional Service Manager SUMMARY
The Transactional Service Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and overall execution of customer service scopes including Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA), Long Term Maintenance Agreements (LTMA), and transactional outage services, parts, and repairs.
This position plays a critical role in field service coordination, customer communication, and project management of outages, requiring frequent travel and strong cross-functional leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead internal planning efforts for outages, including Open, Inspect, Repair, and Close (OIRC) activities. Manage customer contracts and develop detailed outage scopes and schedules. Develop and control budgets, track project costs, and report deviations. Approve and oversee customer and contractor invoices and payment processing. Collaborate with finance to support collections and maintain cash flow. Interface with suppliers and oversee tool and part readiness for outages. Travel regularly to customer plant sites for outage planning and execution oversight. Coordinate shipping, repair, and turnover of parts post-outage. Support warranty issue documentation and resolution. Lead and mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers. Contribute to process improvements and standard procedure development. Maintain accurate records in internal planning systems and tools.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with all company and customer safety protocols, including PPE. Participate in

ISO 9001

compliance and continuous improvement efforts. Demonstrate strong integrity, professionalism, and effective communication. Contribute to a positive team environment and departmental goals. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and passport. Travel required (land/air/overnight) based on contract needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSME or BSEE), OR At least 6 years of relevant project management or field services experience, OR An equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Language & Communication Skills Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and business correspondence. Able to communicate effectively with management, customers, and cross-functional teams. Skilled in writing reports and leading customer meetings. Mathematical & Analytical Skills Able to perform calculations involving budgets, metrics, and engineering data. Strong reasoning and problem-solving ability with minimal supervision. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with ERP, scheduling, or field planning systems is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, talk, and hear. Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Exposure to chemicals, noise, and field environments is possible. Must comply with safety requirements at all times.
