As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Generator Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction.

Position Overview:

The Generator Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the generator service department, managing technicians, coordinating service schedules, ensuring quality control, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires a proactive leader with technical expertise in generator systems and a strong ability to manage operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of generator service technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Ensure all maintenance and repair work on generators meets company standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement service department policies, procedures, and best practices. Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Monitor inventory levels and order necessary parts and equipment for repairs and maintenance. Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting generator system issues as needed. Collaborate with other departments, including sales and installation, to ensure seamless service operations. Track and report on service department performance, identifying areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

5+ years of experience in generator service, repair, or related electrical field. 2+ years of leadership or management experience in a service-related industry. Strong customer interaction (residential a must) Strong technical knowledge of generator systems (residential and commercial). Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple service calls and technician schedules efficiently. Familiarity with Service Titan or similar service management software is a plus.
