Job Summary:
We seek a highly motivated and skilled Technical Service Supervisor to join our team at ONICON Incorporated. The ideal candidate will manage a team or unit of technical customer support staff that responds to customer requests by phone, e-mail, or chat. Provides mentoring, leadership, and organization to supervisors and teams
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of service technicians to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency. Ensures project/department milestones/goals meet and adhere to approved budgets. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Implement processes that maximize efficiency and meet or exceed service quality and customer satisfaction goals. Monitors and measures service metrics and volume to develop standards, improvements, workflow changes, and resource allocation. Making recommendations for product or service changes based on customer feedback and requests. Coordinates across functions to support future products and releases. Analyze service data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive process changes. Performs the same work as those supervised. Performs inventory control, ensuring an adequate and accurate level of parts, equipment, and supplies. All other related duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills Requirement:
Knowledge of applicable tools and equipment. Advanced computer skills on multiple platforms. Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Dynamics (BC) experience. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to lead and coordinate work efforts with a team. In-depth industry knowledge, including the best practices and service delivery standards. Attention to detail.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in the same/similar role.
