Role Summary / Objective The Client Service Manager (CSM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring FourThought’s clients experience white-glove service through accurate, timely, and proactive administrative support. This role supports Planners and Paraplanners by managing critical workflows, coordinating client activities, and ensuring seamless execution of planning deliverables. The CSM is a collaborator, communicator, and executor committed to excellence. Essential Functions Client Service & Communication Serve as a primary liaison for client inquiries, resolving issues promptly and courteously. Manage routine and proactive communications such as RMDs, tax documents, and custodial requests. Ensure all client communication is timely, clear, and accurately documented. Meeting & Account Support Prepare meeting agendas, reports, and custodial paperwork in coordination with Planners and Paraplanners. Handle post-meeting follow-up tasks including form processing, document delivery, and task tracking. Oversee onboarding for new clients and accounts, coordinating document collection and submission. Collaboration & Team Integration Work closely with Planners and Paraplanners to align client service execution with financial planning needs. Participate in internal case review meetings to contribute client-service insights and support execution timelines. Actively collaborate on cross-functional initiatives, leveraging firm-wide resources to serve clients holistically. Operational Execution & Process Stewardship Accurately submit client requests including money movements, address changes, beneficiary updates, and account transfers. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality. Maintain meticulous records in the CRM and custodial systems. Training & Culture Contribution Mentor and train fellow CSMs on internal systems, procedures, and client service best practices. Champion the FourThought brand and service standards by consistently modeling professionalism and care. Other Duties Participate in firm initiatives, projects, or ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations. Qualifications for This Position Bachelor’s degree. 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a wealth management or private client setting. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Client-centric mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and act with urgency. Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
