Assistant Specialty Program Manager St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum Saint Augustine, FL 32080 Assistant Specialty Program Manager / Museum Associate St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum | St. Augustine, FL The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Specialty Program Manager to support our Dark of the Moon (DOM) and Private Tours. This dual-role position also performs Museum Associate duties in the Museum Store.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily operations of DOM and Private Tours, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Support selecting, training, scheduling, and managing tour staff. Maintain profitability by balancing staffing levels with business demands. Assist with guest interactions, safety, and site security. Provide monthly operational reports. Perform retail duties in the Museum Store, including customer service, stocking, and cash handling.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience leading tours or managing large groups is strongly preferred. Strong customer service, leadership, communication, and computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb the lighthouse tower and stand for extended periods. Must be available for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
