In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing technical operations within our automotive service department, ensuring high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair, along with excellent customer service skills. You will play a crucial role in leading a team of technicians while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Oversee vehicle maintenance and repair processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Manage customer service interactions, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism. Collaborate with dealership management to optimize workflow and improve service delivery. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting tasks as needed. Assist in training new staff members on best practices in automotive service and repair. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair, maintenance, or service roles within a dealership environment. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to vehicle maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. Previous experience in sales is a plus, contributing to an overall understanding of customer needs. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Relevant certifications in automotive technology or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
