Fresh Monkee – delights customers with hand-made truly healthy protein shakes is now hiring an assistant manager (AM) for the Sandy Springs, GA location. The assistant manager will be responsible for scheduling, training, managing inventory, handling customer issues ensuring customer satisfaction, while overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining quality standards. The Assistant manager is responsible for working with the owners and the franchise brand to fulfill the operations requirements and contributes to the growth, efficiency and success of the business. This role requires individuals motivated by development and growth. This role involves partnering with the owners and staff in all facets of the store operations to make an impact on the team and community. Compensation is commensurate with the market and experience. Additional incentives based on performance and achieving KPIs. In this role, you will support the store management in daily operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and efficient store performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for sales, while also being able to manage various administrative tasks effectively. Responsibilities Operational Support Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining operational efficiency. Manage staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage to meet customer demands. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers (as needed) to ensure timely deliveries. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality. Customer Service Memorize 30+ recipes and be able to prepare multiple shakes at once. Prepare shakes per customer requests. Help baristas and team leads in preparing and serving great products. Interact with customers regularly and professionally, answer questions about the nutritional benefits of our shakes and make recommendations based on customers’ goals. Increase ticket sales by recommending and promoting add-ons to customers Ensure exceptional customer service standards and brand standards are met. Address customer inquiries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. Staff Management & Leadership Assist in recruiting, hiring and onboarding new employees. Help train and develop team members, ensuring they have necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Retrain / refresh procedures if needed. Work closely with owners and the brand to ensure effective communication and collaboration; to create a positive and motivated team environment. Act as a role model for staff while demonstrating enthusiasm, emotional maturity and promoting a positive and professional work environment and store vibe. Create an open and trusting relationship with owners and help develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Financial Management Support management in monitoring financial performance, including sales, expenses and profitability. Assist in maintaining accurate records and handling cash management procedures. Help implement strategies to optimize costs, reduce waste, and increase revenue. Health and Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, including equipment maintenance. Help enforce proper food storage and handling practices to ensure product quality and safety. Skills Must be dependable and flexible with availability. Ability to work quickly, multi-task with common sense and stay calm under pressure. Listen and communicate effectively Must be available for shop emergencies, emergency staff scheduling changes and peak times. Understand “all in” when it comes to running your own shop Strong attention to detail and problem solving to understand root cause and create sustainable change Proven working experience in restaurant and retail industry Cash and key handling responsibilities
Additional Qualifications:
Required:
1-3 years of prior restaurant/retail experience requiring strong customer service commitment and orientation Ability to work at least some of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred:
