Job Description We’re seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Assistant Retail Wine Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of wine with a desire to expand their expertise. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and consultative sales expertise
Provide full-service dining experience to wine bar guests
Manage daily wine shop operations including opening/closing procedures
Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and inventory accuracy
Process customer orders and coordinate pickups
Assist with receiving and checking in wine, beer, and liquor shipments
Help maintain and update customer database in POS system
Support wine education through tastings and staff training
Work collaboratively with restaurant management team Requirements Recent experience as a server and/or bartender
Wine knowledge or strong interest in learning
Excellent customer service and sales abilities
Proficiency with POS systems (Lightspeed experience preferred)
Computer skills including Microsoft Office
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional demeanor and attention to detail
Entrepreneurial spirit and creative selling approach
