Crowley, LA 70526 Direct Service Worker Job Description A Direct Service Worker (DSW) provides services to individuals in their homes and out in the community, whose needs vary from assistance with caring for themselves in regular daily activities, non-skilled health monitoring, to behavioral redirection/management with those consumers who may suffer from mental disabilities. Direct Service Workers are responsible for ensuring that services are delivered in a caring and respectful manner as well as in accordance with relevant agency policies and industry standards. Direct Service Workers are to report to the Field Supervisor(s). Qualifications/Education 18 years or older High School Diploma, GED, or paid work experience Current First Aid (must be obtained within 30 days of being hired) Driver’s License/Identification Card Vehicle Registration Valid Car Insurance Responsibilities/Activities Bathing
