This is a highly responsible managerial position that has direct supervision of and responsibility for directing the daily work activities of the Administrative Clerk positions and Switchboard Operator who staff the public transaction windows of the Records Department. Under the general supervision of the City Clerk, this position is responsible for providing support services to the City Clerk’s Office through assigned customer service staff. It involves planning, organizing, and directing the staff to ensure that the daily interaction with the public transacting business with the City is carried out in a positive, efficient, and helpful manner.
