Logistics Coordinator (with Accounting and Customer Service Support) Ani-Tek LLC Shelbina, MO 63468 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage the daily movement of goods and materials while supporting overall supply chain efficiency. This role ensures timely order fulfillment, coordinates shipments, manages vendor communication, and oversees inventory levels. The Logistics Coordinator will also perform backup support in accounting and customer service functions as needed. This is a hands-on, non-management role requiring strong multitasking skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Primary Responsibilities –
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination:
Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, labels) and resolve freight or delivery issues. Maintain and monitor inventory levels; initiate purchase orders and restocking activities as needed. Work closely with production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment timelines. Keep accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supply chain transactions. Analyze logistics and purchasing data to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities. Backup Responsibilities –
Accounting Support:
Perform basic financial transactions such as data entry, invoice generation, and payment tracking. Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions in QuickBooks. Support budget tracking, expense reconciliations, and report preparation. Help maintain compliance with internal financial policies and assist with audit preparation. Coordinate with external accountants when needed. Backup Responsibilities –
Customer Service Support:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding order status, product details, and delivery timelines. Process customer orders and returns in the internal system when needed. Maintain accurate customer records, preferences, and pricing agreements. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly in the absence of the primary service team. Support ongoing service improvements based on customer feedback.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in logistics, order coordination, or supply chain support. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Knowledge of shipping, inventory management, and vendor coordination processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
