We are seeing a Customer Service/Dispatch Manager for our growing team. This pivotal role involves overseeing a dedicated team of dispatchers to ensure exceptional customer service in alignment with our “service vision.” The Customer Service/Dispatch Manager will optimize the daily scheduling and efficient use of delivery labor and equipment, coordinating the dispatch of over 50 Ready Mix trucks each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster strong, positive relationships with customers to enhance service delivery. Collaborate with the sales team to address and resolve customer-driven challenges. Partner with operations personnel to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in dispatch processes. Optimize plant sourcing and maintain real-time truck tracking. Monitor and ensure the accuracy of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in customer service and interaction. 3-5 years of managerial experience within a dispatch or operational role. 3-5 years of experience in fleet dispatching; Ready Mix dispatching experience is a plus. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Hours of Service regulations.
