We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a dual-role Customer Service Representative / Inventory Manager .
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Representative Duties:
Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone call, text, email, and in person. Assist customers with scheduling installations. Process and manage customer orders, returns, and exchanges. Handle customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution of issues. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Process customer installation payments. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Inventory Manager Duties:
Receive, inspect, and log incoming flooring materials and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software. Track stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure product availability. Organize and maintain the cleanliness and order of the warehouse or storage area. Coordinate with installers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service and/or inventory management (flooring or home improvement industry preferred). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using CRM and inventory management software. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Ability to lift and move flooring materials when needed. Up to 60 lbs High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred:
Experience or knowledge in flooring products and services. Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred). Microsoft Office Suite Inventory Tracking Systems ( Sortly, Netsuite) CRM experience ( Monday)
