We specialize in peer support and housing support services for clients navigating behavioral health challenges. Our team is passionate, collaborative, and mission-driven. We are seeking a Housing/Office Coordinator who will play a key role in ensuring both the smooth daily operation of our office and the effective management of our housing support programs. This role is perfect for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing both administrative duties and client coordination. This position works closely with the Office Manager and directly supports our peer and housing support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Housing Coordination:
Assist with the intake and placement of clients into transitional and permanent supportive housing Coordinate with landlords, property managers, and housing partners Track housing availability and maintain up-to-date housing rosters Schedule and assist with housing inspections and move-ins Support clients with documentation needed for housing applications
Office Coordination:
Support the Office Manager with daily administrative duties Maintain and organize client files, forms, and program documentation Order office supplies and manage inventory Answer phones, respond to emails, and welcome clients/visitors Help ensure the office is clean, organized, and functional Verify client insurance eligibility through NCTracks Conduct new client intake sessions via phone Ensure timely completion of new client intake forms. Follow up on client referrals and coordinate next steps. Collaborate with the clinical team to schedule client assessments Schedule client outpatient therapy sessions, and other necessary services. Create, update, and manage client charts, ensuring accuracy and compliance Coordinate client resources and referrals on a case-by-case basis. Attend weekly team meetings.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred Previous experience in office administration, case coordination, or housing support preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems Compassionate, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license (if applicable for site visits)
