Operations Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Warranty and Service Coordinator to manage all aspects of warranty claims and service coordination for our siding and roofing division. This role acts as the key liaison between customers, field technicians, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient resolution of service and warranty issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, evaluate, and process warranty claims and service requests from homeowners, property managers, and contractors. Coordinate schedules for field technicians to ensure timely inspections, service calls, and repairs. Maintain detailed records of all service activities, warranty claims, and customer communications in the company’s service software. Communicate with customers to gather relevant information, provide status updates, and manage expectations. Work closely with field technicians to assign work orders, review findings, and ensure completion of service items. Verify warranty coverage based on project scope, materials used, and installation dates. Assist in documenting and resolving any product defects or workmanship concerns within warranty terms. Order materials or request parts necessary for repairs, in coordination with procurement or warehouse staff. Collaborate with project managers and the production team to address recurring issues or potential process improvements. Monitor service performance metrics and support continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or vocational training in construction administration or similar field preferred. 2+ years of experience in customer service, service coordination, or administrative support in the construction or home services industry (preferred). Familiarity with siding and roofing systems, common warranty terms, and service processes is a strong plus. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle customer concerns professionally. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple service requests simultaneously.

Preferred Traits:

Customer-first attitude with a proactive approach to communication. Ability to work well with both field staff and office teams. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
