$38.6K – $46.7K a year 10 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) On-the-job training Vision insurance Qualifications Customer service Mid-level Supervising experience Client services Organizational skills Computer skills 2 years Communication skills Full Job Description Job highlights Qualifications Strong candidates will possess supervisory experience, a positive attitude, and a friendly demeanor towards both animals and people Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and a strong understanding of high-quality customer service are essential for success in this position Excellent knowledge of client service and communication center operations Strong organizational skills Strong client relations and interpersonal skills Intermediate to expert computer skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong supervisory skills Self-starter and team player Strong client service background Ability to lift up to 40 pounds 2 years of supervisory experience required Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid vacation/sick days 401(k) Generous employee pet discounts Responsibilities The Client Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care and excellent client service within the veterinary practice This position is under the direction of the Hospital Manager and involves a wide range of complex administrative activities that support effective business operations The Supervisor is responsible for managing finances and accounting, marketing and promoting services, staffing and human resources, and other discretionary activities that contribute to the overall success of the organization The ideal candidate for this role is a reliable self-starter who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment The Supervisor will also be expected to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which may include working days, evenings, and weekends In this leadership role, the Client Service Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the client service areas, ensuring that the front office runs efficiently and effectively This includes training and mentoring staff, resolving client complaints, and enforcing policies and procedures The Supervisor will also work closely with the Hospital Manager to assist in daily operations and provide recommendations for improvements in workflow processes and client service needs Responsible for the day-to-day client service areas of the front office and internally with departmental relations Interview, train, coach, develop, mentor, and take disciplinary action as appropriate for staff Direct on-the-job training to develop employee skill sets and advise employees of performance requirements Assist Hospital Manager with day-to-day operations Resolve informal client complaints and maintain and report on these issues to the hospital manager Ensure efficient day-to-day running of the front office, including enforcement of policies, procedures, and protocols Identify and provide recommendations for potential problems, non-routine situations, workflow processes, and client service needs to the hospital manager Make decisions on behalf of the department utilizing good judgment in the best interest of the hospital and clients Coach employees and direct reports Assist in the development and delivery of employee evaluations for the front desk with the hospital manager Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of reporting tools and queries needed to manage the business Handle communication of financial information to clients and doctors Act as a liaison between the front office and other department supervisors If you are a current associate, you will need to apply through our internal career site.
