CHILLER SERVICES MANAGER – NJ

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Chiller Services Manager to lead our service team in delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems, along with proven leadership abilities. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality standards. Duties Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of service requests. Manage a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support in troubleshooting and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities. Collaborate with other departments to improve service delivery processes and customer satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the HVAC/R industry. Strong technical knowledge in HVAC systems, plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning, and boiler maintenance. Associates, Bachelor’s Degree in Technical field and / or equivalent experience. Direct and attributable HVAC experience required. Experience with steam turbines, air/water cooled chillers, high tonnage chillers, absorber experience. 8+ years’ experience in general chiller installation/ maintenance/service Air cooled/ water cooled, various compressors. High tonnage, absorber experience a plus. Comfortable presenting to and engaging with a technical audience including reps, engineers, contractors, and owners. Adaptable to the management style and process methods of teammates to achieve common goals. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and architectural blueprints, specifications and HVAC equipment submittal data. Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people Previous field service experience is highly desirable.
