As part of the Altana group, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Summary We are seeking a Customer Service Manager to join our team at BYK-Gardner USA. In this role, you will oversee two FTEs in customer service and warehouse operations, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of support and satisfaction. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining our reputation for quality and service.

Responsibilities Customer Service:

Manage the customer service processes and personnel. Ensure that customer inquiries and issues are handled promptly and effectively. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service. Identify areas for improvement in customer service processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and customer experience. Work closely with sales, finance, R D, and production to ensure alignment across all departments.

Shipping and Receiving:

Manage the shipping and receiving processes and personnel. Ensure compliance with customs requirements for international shipments, including documentation and regulations. Negotiate pricing with shipping carriers to optimize transportation costs and reduce expenses. Review and update shipping policies, tariff codes, and product identifiers to ensure compliance and efficiency in shipping operations. Identify areas for improvement in shipping and receiving processes, implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce costs. Maintain accurate finished goods inventory records, conduct regular audits and reconciliation to prevent discrepancies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field. Minimum of five (5) years related supervisory or management experience. Experience in developing customer service strategies and in creating new business development proposals/quotations. Proficiency in customer service software and ERP systems, preferably Salesforce and
