Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of a 14-member Commercial Client Service team, ensuring optimal workflow and consistent service quality. Monitor performance metrics, allocate workloads, and maintain service standards aligned with agency goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Claims teams to support business development and retention efforts. Act as the primary escalation point for complex client or carrier issues, ensuring timely resolution. Oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development for team members. Track progress on departmental initiatives, strategic objectives, and continuous improvement efforts. Lead onboarding and ongoing education programs for Commercial Client Service staff. Promote a learning-focused culture, mentoring team members to strengthen their technical skills and service delivery. Conduct regular quality audits and feedback sessions to identify opportunities for growth. Ensure compliance with agency procedures, industry regulations, and carrier requirements. Evaluate current vendor partnerships and assess emerging technologies to improve efficiency. Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory updates in the Commercial P&C space

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Minimum 7 years of experience in Commercial insurance, preferably working with middle market clients. At least 3 years in management or supervisory role. Active NYS Property & Casualty License required. Industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM, CPCU) preferred.

Salary Range:

$100k – $125k annually, based on experience.
