• Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supermarket Manager with at least 2 years in a supermarket manager setting, to oversee the operations of our Shelter Island location As a Supermarket Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of the entire store.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties

• Manage and supervise the entire store
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets
• Recruit, train, and supervise dept. managers and all supermarket clerks.
• Monitor store performance and provide guidance and support as needed
• Ordering
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
• Regularly assess operations, merchandising, and customer service
• Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee stock replenishment processes
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner Skills To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising a supermarket
• Proven track record in supermarket management
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees and customers
• Ability to recruit, train, and motivate a diverse team of supermarket clerks
