As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Insurance Customer Service Supervisor to lead our service team and take part in exciting sales opportunities to drive revenue and enhance the customer experience. As the Customer Service Supervisor , you will manage the daily operations of our insurance customer service team while also supporting agency sales goals. This role combines leadership with hands-on involvement in servicing existing clients and participating in new business opportunities , making it ideal for someone who enjoys both team management and sales engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and mentor customer service representatives and support staff. Oversee daily service operations, ensuring accurate and timely handling of policy changes, billing inquiries, and customer communications. Respond to and resolve complex customer service issues and escalations. Develop and maintain service standards that promote retention and satisfaction. Collaborate with producers and leadership to support cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. Actively participate in sales efforts , including quoting, identifying coverage gaps, and recommending policy upgrades. Ensure efficient handoff from sales to service and help drive renewal conversions . Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing coaching and development to service staff. Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a P&C insurance service or supervisory role. Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (preferred or must be obtained within 90 days). Sales-minded with a passion for helping customers find the best coverage options. Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-resolution skills. Proficient in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
