Overview:
Salary $45,000 year Work collaboratively with the Rapid Response Project Coordinator and other members of the PA CareerLink® team Provide high quality customer service to dislocated workers Outreach and communicate to dislocated workers from Crozer to connect them to PA CareerLink services Partner closely with the Business Service Team for recruitment events and hiring coordination of dislocated workers
Responsibilities:
Offer one-on-one orientation and intake (discovery) sessions with dislocated workers to educate them on CareerLink® services and how to create an account and navigate the PACL site. Collaborate with local PA CareerLink® sites to connect customers to WIOA services, including Career Service, On-The-Job Training, the Good Jobs Challenge, Unemployment Compensation, and other PACL services as appropriate. Provide referrals to dislocated workers for job postings, provide mock interviews, and refer to recruitment events Support in resume upgrading and interview readiness for dislocated workers who are preparing to apply and interview with new employers Make outreach calls to dislocated workers who have not received services yet Document all services in CWDS report performance data to the Rapid Response Project Coordinator Meet performance criteria established for PA CareerLink® Rapid Response services Ensure exemplary customer service is provided to employees affected by dislocation Understand the customer flow for the PACL and refer customers appropriately to those services Provide support for customers to understand how to opt for self service of PACL workshops, recruitment events, and job matching through CWDS. Conduct outreach to customers who have visited the Transition Center in order to keep them engaged and provide opportunities for employment Connect with Unemployment Compensation, Pennie, and financial literacy organizations to refer customers for additional supportive services Run workshops that are relevant to the needs of the customers Other opportunities as available
Qualifications:
Customer service experience required Good interpersonal skills Knowledge of the PA Careerlink and American Job Center Must be flexible with scheduling and workload changes Must be able to work collaboratively with many partners Proficient in CWDS and Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Bookings Must be comfortable with local travel
