Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to support the renewal, retention, and growth of our existing Life, Health, and Medicare insurance accounts. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a high standard of client service while executing targeted marketing and renewal strategies. The ideal candidate is service-driven, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Renewals Manage the renewal process for assigned client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Maintain and strengthen service relationships with existing clients through proactive communication and support. Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather necessary information and documentation for renewals. Research, compile, and deliver professional presentations and sales materials as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications regarding existing account renewals. Analyze data and generate renewal reports and marketing packages tailored to each client. Sales Support & Marketing Strategy Collaborate with agents and internal stakeholders to identify referral opportunities for new accounts. Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to grow business from the existing client base. Compile, approve, and deliver customized proposals and presentations to support new and renewal sales efforts.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree with two (2) additional years of relevant experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare insurance, program management, customer service, or a technology-related field. Previous experience in a direct sales or marketing role within the health insurance or related industry strongly preferred. Licensing & Compliance Must possess or be willing to obtain a South Carolina Health Insurance License within 30 days of employment.
