POSITION SUMMARY

The Family Success Network Site Director is responsible for planning and implementing center programming, facilitating resource workshops, and managing the client intake and follow-up process. The Site Director also oversees client communications and outreach and supervises the front desk receptionist to ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all families.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop, organize, and implement a full programming schedule that aligns with Family Success Network goals and community needs. Plan and lead workshops designed to connect families with community resources and services. Partner with local organizations and professionals to bring relevant topics and guest speakers to the center. Oversee the full client intake process, including needs assessments, and goal setting. Ensure timely and compassionate follow-up to keep clients engaged and supported. Manage communications with current and prospective clients, including monthly newsletters, text reminders and program/event flyers. Conduct targeted outreach and recruitment efforts to engage families who can benefit from FSN services. Supervise the front desk receptionist, providing training, scheduling, performance feedback, and daily support. Ensure the front desk area offers a professional, welcoming, and organized experience for all guests. Work closely with internal departments and community partners to coordinate services and referrals. Coordinates diaper distribution program. Maintain accurate records and assist in compiling reports for internal and external stakeholders. Represents Martha O’Bryan Center at community events and partnership meetings. Assist with all aspects of FSN activities including the food pantry. Adult education and employment and community events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in human or social services, education, or related field. Minimum three years’ experience working with families and young children. Supervisory experience and a commitment to high-quality client service. Experience leading group workshops or classes. Non-profit experience, and training in trauma-informed care, family-centered coaching, conscious discipline, and ACES preferred. The above qualifications express the minimum standards of education and/or experience for this position. Other combinations of education and experience, if evaluated as equivalent, may be taken into consideration.

Knowledge and Abilities:

Knowledge of inner-city human services needs and methods of delivery. Strong facilitation and communication skills. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong interpersonal skills; excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintains credibility through sincerity, honesty, and discretion. Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external constituents. Strong organizational and project management skills. Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Exercises good and consistently fair judgment, courtesy, and tact in dealing with the staff and public in giving and obtaining information. Computer literate including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, database, desk top publishing software, email and the internet.
