Our diverse product family serves a wide range of market applications. Position Description We are seeking a Customer Service Manager based out of our Clarksville, TN location. The Service Manager will be responsible for managing service relationships with clients working with the VP of Sales and the Director of Engineering. The Service Manager will build and oversee a team of service technicians and provide service and product support to Microvast US customers. Job Responsibilities Provide product and service leadership for US customers while working with product support teams in Europe and China. Develop, negotiate and maintain customer service plans for US customers. US spare parts Inventory control and management and oversight of spares and tools in the Clarksville customer service area. Attends training on new products or features to maintain expertise in Microvast products and systems. Responds to US customer service issues working with a team in Europe and China to diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues. Perform planned preventative maintenance schedules, equipment and facility preventative rounds and inspections as requested by customers. Supervise production technicians for any service requested pre-shipment tests for US customers. Perform and oversee any regularly scheduled maintenance cycling on US customer equipment. Manage the service request queue and drive services to completion in a timely manner. Respond to emergency situations for US customers travelling to their sites as required. Assist in training entry level or new service technicians Communicate with other personnel concerning operation, safety, and overall performance of equipment and processes. Develop and manage the US service budget with support from the US leadership team. Develop and manage service performance dashboards for reporting to the US leadership team. •Travel up to 40-60% to customer locations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience with a product technical focus. Service experience is a bonus. Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, test, diagnose, and repair issues/faults in battery systems. Must be self-motivated, safety and quality-conscious, and possess the ability to work efficiently with minimal direction. Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment and with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of relevant EHS subjects, especially US regulations concerning safe working on high voltage systems (1000V), would be beneficial. Experience in the Li-ion battery sector or with EV’s/PHEV’s/HEV’s/FCEVs would be beneficial.
