Description:
Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and organized Commercial Dispatcher to join our service operations team. This role is pivotal in coordinating field technicians, managing service schedules, and ensuring efficient communication between clients and our service personnel. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities Service Coordination:
Schedule and dispatch HVAC and mechanical service technicians to client sites, ensuring optimal route planning and resource allocation.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service scheduling, updates, and inquiries.
Work Order Management:
Create, update, and close work orders in the service management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Technician Support:
Provide technicians with necessary job information, including scope of work, client requirements, and safety protocols.
Emergency Response:
Coordinate emergency service calls, prioritizing based on urgency and resource availability.
Data Entry & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of service activities, technician hours, and client interactions for reporting purposes.
Process Improvement:
Identify and suggest improvements to dispatch procedures to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in a dispatching role, preferably within the HVAC, mechanical, or construction industries.
