Doing:
Process orders by verifying pricing, shipping details, delivery dates, and necessary comments; file and confirm orders accordingly. Ensure accuracy by validating customer and Account Executive details, pricing codes, and special instructions. Respond to customer inquiries using product knowledge to deliver effective solutions. Coordinate product returns, including carrier communication and credit issues. Maintain order documentation across multiple facilities and communicate critical updates as needed. Release orders to appropriate facilities for fulfillment and shipment. Provide cost estimates and component availability for special order products. Collaborate with internal departments, other facilities, and corporate teams to meet customer needs. Support cross-functional teams while upholding high standards of service and quality.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Proficient with computer software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Windows environment). Experience in Customer Service or in a Customer Solutions environment preferred. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills such as counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. D365 knowledge is a plus.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Post-high school education is preferred.
