We are a local design and remodeling company looking to add an office assistant to our thriving team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and other team members. We are looking for a trustworthy dedicated team member who understands the importance of regular attendance and the ability to work individually as well as a team. This role also requires the skillfulness to be flexible and multitask at times. In return, we offer a base hourly pay plus commissions for assisting the sales team. Duties Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and courtesy. Assist customers in the showroom with product selections and information. Assist the other team members when needed. Schedule appointments. Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services. Data entry in QuickBooks. Promote and upload pictures for social media posts. Uphold company policies and procedures while providing excellent customer services. Must be a reliable and dependable team member Experience Previous experience in customer service, sales, or related fields is a plus. Proficiency with computers and data entry, specifically with QuickBooks, is preferred. Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers and other team members. Ability to follow through with customers and vendors to task completion. Ability to detail notes with customers’ product selections and/or requests. Positive and professional demeanor. Possess good telephone presence and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic, dependable and dedicated team member. Possess a valid Driver License.
