Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing a positive customer experience in a prompt and professional manner related to the customers’ needs and questions regarding television, internet and telephone services.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers via telephone to answer customer inquiries and solve problems regarding services and products.
• Troubleshoot basic service issues and schedule on site service calls when necessary.
• Demonstrate courtesy and patience in customer relations, maintaining the ability to explain all products and services offered at the current time.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Adept at handling customer complaints.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree a plus.
• At least one year of customer service experience required.

Work Environment:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

Up to $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
