First Southern Bank is looking for an Account Services Representative to join our team! The Account Services Representative’s responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service to our current and prospective customers, process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with our established policies and procedures, build strong relationships with customers to identify their financial needs and maintain knowledge of our products and services, and open new accounts as appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide the highest level of customer service in a positive, courteous, and enthusiastic manner to associates, customers and the community Build and maintain relationships with customers; identify customer needs and provide education on our products and services Identify and serve customers with account transactions Receive and record cash, checks, and payments Process cash and check withdrawals Assists customers with opening and closing of accounts Reconcile cash drawers Maintain a strong working knowledge and adhere to bank policies, procedures, and systems Performs account maintenance and ensures accuracy by timely follow up and verifications

Requirements:

Minimum education – High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years of customer service experience; highly preferred in a financial institution Excellent computer and communication skills (in person, phone, and email) Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals Ability to prioritize multiple demands Friendly, courteous, and professional disposition Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
