• As a Customer Experience Specialist in Firearms/Sporting Goods, you are responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience in the Firearms/Sporting Goods departments.

You will support a strongmitment to world-class customer service and ensure an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers. You’ll know which products will meet customers’ needs and stay up to date on product knowledge. You willanize and maintain firearms in all locations within the store to include the Firearms Counter and Firearms Vault. You will ensure that 4473 forms arepleted thoroughly and accurately, as well receive iing firearms using logbooks and electronic systems. With your knowledge and helpful suggestions, customers will continue to shop the Exchange.

Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to the Firearms counter/Sporting Goods department area to let them know you’ll be right with them
Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate products that meet the specific need of the customer
Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping
Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation

Additional Qualifications/Requirements

SCHEDULE ROTATING FROM MON-SAT 8

45 AM-7:15 PM, SUN 10:00 AM TO 6:00 PM

TO INCLUDE EVENINGS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS. SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH PROPER NOTICE.

CANDIDATE

MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO BE ABLE TO WORK IN THIS POSITION. CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO PASS A NACI AND DRUG TEST.

IDEAL

CANDIDATE WILL HAVE STRONG VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS, AND WILLING TO LEARN ALL ASPECTS OF THE FIREARMS POSITION. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS CRITICAL FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF JOB DUTIES. COMPUTER SKILLS, FIREARMS KNOWLEDGE, AND CASH HANDLING EXPERIENCE STRONGLY DESIRED. TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 30 LBS, STAND FOR EXTENDED PERIODS, BEND, REACH, STOOP, AND SQUAT.

Job Qualifications
Previous experience with Inventory Control procedures preferred
Prior knowledge and experience with firearms preferred
Understanding of ATF laws and regulations
Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs
Able to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions
Able to take initiative
Able to brand knowledge

Excellent attention to detail
Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store, as needed
Must possess a weing and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members

12 months of Retail experience preferred
