• Duties
• Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
• Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle information.
• Utilize auto estimating software to provide cost estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, auto body repairs, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations and repair options.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments.
• Promote additional services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area to ensure a professional environment.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in automotive service writing or related roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes, including oil changes and auto body repair.
• Familiarity with auto service management systems and estimating software is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate service options to customers.
• Excellent cash handling skills and attention to detail in record keeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of customer service.
