out of 5 stars Tallassee, AL 36078 Major Duties and Responsibilities Provides financial planning services to members. Counsels members and prospective members about their financial needs and services. Reviews and follows up with the member on credit building process. Complies with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies. Conducts the loan interview and secures the member information necessary to initiate a loan transaction. Maintains or exceeds established loan goal throughout the year. Ensures member is protected by educating on the benefits of available products (Credit Life, Disability, GAP,MBP) Serves as an effective liaison between the member and the Underwriting team by fully capturing member’s story in loan notes to assist Underwriting in making sound decisions. Takes time to identify the appropriate solution for the member and makes recommendations accordingly. Communicate lending decisions in a manner that provides the member prompt and efficient service in a respectful manner. Maintains effective communication and positive interpersonal relationships with the branch team and other departments serving as a resource when needed. Verifies the quality, completeness and accuracy of loan applications. Performs work with accuracy and addresses identified errors in a timely manner.
