Guest Service Representative R Hospitality Homewood, AL Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel services and amenities. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software. Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls, take reservations, and provide information as needed. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met during their stay. Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Qualifications Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred, ideally within the hospitality industry. Familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus. Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening and problem-solving. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous but not required.
