$33.1K – $46.7K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Customer service Mid-level Microsoft Office High school diploma or GED Computer skills Communication skills Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description The Service Advisor is responsible for supporting all branch Service Department personnel through detailed handling of a variety of administrative duties including handling incoming calls, producing quotations and estimates, opening and closing work orders, adjusting time on work orders, dispatching Field Service Technicians, assigning jobs to Shop Technicians, training/mentoring less experienced Technicians, and other duties not specified. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations Handle incoming phone calls to the branch Produce quotations and estimates Take and deliver messages to branch personnel Effectively communicate with Service Department Personnel to address customer needs Assign jobs to Shop Technicians & Dispatch Field Service Technicians Open and properly segment Work Orders applying correct codes and tax information Handle closing of Work Orders in a timely fashion Adjust Service Technician time when necessary Obtain Purchase Orders from customers as required Responsible for charging his/her time to work orders Experience Preferred position.
