Job Description
•Essential Duties and Responsibilities•Assist with customer relations for the service department by receiving phone calls and emails and following up with customers to provide status updatesOpen and close work orders in alignment with internal procedure timelinesPrepare quotesEdit and update all work orders to ensure 100% capture of all billable itemsProvide unit history to the service department for incoming repairsAssist with Shop scheduling to ensure optimal efficiency and customer serviceSupport service supervisor by reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules to determine progress of work and completion dates, and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
Maintain and ensure work is being fed into the line in the correct sequence per schedule.
Ensure production data is being maintained appropriately and that the system reflects up to date status.
Ensure that work in progress “WIP” information is correct and that job orders are being closed in a timely manner.
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption, track material shortages and provide immediate resolution.
