Customer Service Representative:
Constant interaction with customers throughout the country, helping to make sure their orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Support for multiple sales forces, communicating updates and necessary information to sales reps and internal departments to keep customer order data up-to-date. Must be able to work both independently and as a team on a regular basis. This role requires professionalism, a positive attitude and excellent communication skills (both listening and verbal/written). Our ultimate goal is to improve the customer experience and build customer loyalty. In addition, the following duties are necessary for the successful performance of this job: Taking orders via phone, fax, mail and email and enter to order samples, broadloom, luxury vinyl flooring and coordinating trim Handle large number of incoming calls each day (up to 120 to 150 calls per day) Monitor orders and ensure shipping occurs within 24-48 hours Establish positive and productive working environment Respond promptly to inquiries Verify accounts Handle and resolve customer issues Provide pricing and delivery information Communicate and coordinate with internal departments Check stock for current, dropped and promotional products Convert measurements (example: from square yards to linear feet; square feet to linear feet or square yards) Convert pricing (example: from square feet to square yards) Filing of paperwork
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Strong communication (verbal and written) skills Type minimum of 30 words per minute Good problem solving and decision making abilities Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplications, and percentages) Pleasant and professional phone manner; must be patient Strong listening and comprehension skills
