Description Position Summary The Customer Service Representative will be the primary point of contact for our direct customers and distribution partners, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities will include managing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving any issues related to orders and shipments. Essential Functions Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
Process customer order revisions and communicate changes to the warehouse and logistics teams.
Monitor product inventories and collaborate with the plant coordinators to identify potential shortages and escalate to the sales team. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email, escalating to appropriate salesperson when necessary.
Manage incoming customer complaints, directing them to the appropriate salesperson.
Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or the food industry is a plus.
Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the food industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
