Summary:
The Pharmacy Services Representative (PSR) executes strategies to educate and engage internal and external stakeholders. This role leads initiatives to enhance understanding of pharmacy services among healthcare providers, patients, and the broader community, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction set by the Vice President of Education and Outreach. Success in this role requires a strong background in education, outreach, and business development, along with excellent communication skills. This position requires weekly travel to our Northwest territories in Arkansas.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Implementation :
Collaborate with the Vice President of Education and Outreach to implement strategies driving business growth and stakeholder engagement. Define and meet long-term objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by leadership.
Education Program Execution :
Deliver educational programs targeting healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and other stakeholders. Support the development of educational tools designed by the VP and ensure effective deployment. Meet field activity expectations, such as call cycles, educational sessions, and program investments.
Patient Education :
Inform and engage patients by explaining the services offered by our pharmacy.
Outreach Initiatives :
Operationalize outreach efforts by establishing and strengthening relationships with healthcare organizations, advocacy groups, and community leaders. Represent the organization at workshops, community events, and stakeholder meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaborations :
Partner with leadership, Customer Service, Pharmacy Operations, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of organizational efforts. Support VP-led cross-departmental initiatives to enhance program effectiveness.
Compliance and Updates :
Work under the guidance of the VP to ensure educational materials and programs comply with regulations and maintain industry standards. Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations, applying insights to day-to-day responsibilities.
Performance Monitoring :
Analyze performance data to identify improvement areas and recommend adjustments to enhance outcomes.
Supervisory Responsibilities :

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in outside sales, healthcare education, or related fields. Proven success in implementing strategies, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting. Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. Demonstrated ability to collaborate, inspire others, and achieve results in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for decision-making and measuring success. Demonstrated high integrity, professionalism, and commitment to compliance. Must pass background and drug screening.
