In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your responsibilities will include cash handling, assisting customers with their inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. A strong emphasis on teamwork and communication is essential as you will collaborate with other staff members to maintain store operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience. Accurately process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash and electronic payments securely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all stock is properly displayed. Assist in restocking shelves and managing inventory levels as needed. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer service and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with a basic understanding of math and retail math principles. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively assist customers. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction capabilities. Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus but not required.
