Cashier/Customer Service Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Arkansas ReStore Bentonville AR 1421 East 15th Street, Fayetteville, AR 72701 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to engage with customers and assist them with their needs will be crucial in creating a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register accurately, processing sales transactions and handling cash, credit, and debit payments. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively upsell products to customers. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure a well-presented store environment. Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate cash handling and register operations. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Assist in scheduling all pick ups of donations. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and register operations. Ability to effectively upsell products and engage customers in conversation. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Hours are between 8:30am and 5:30pm Tuesday – Saturday.
