Blue Heron Creamery is a locally-owned, premium ice cream shop committed to serving delicious, handcrafted ice cream made from the finest ingredients. We believe in creating a fun, welcoming environment where customers can enjoy a scoop (or two!) of our amazing ice cream. We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly individuals to join our team and provide excellent service to our community.
Position Overview:
As a Crew Member at Blue Heron Creamery, you’ll play a key role in delivering a great customer experience. You’ll be responsible for scooping ice cream, serving customers, and helping maintain a clean, organized shop. If you love ice cream and enjoy working with people, this is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Scoop and serve a variety of ice cream flavors with a smile Take customer orders, suggest flavors, and offer recommendations Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for every guest Handle cash and process payments using the register Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shop, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Assist with maintaining stock and organizing products Help set up and close the shop, including opening/closing duties Work as part of a friendly, team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or retail is a plus but not required Friendly, approachable attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player who is dependable and reliable Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
