What will I be doing? Customer Service Rep I (CSR I) is an entry-level position for seasoned or new-to-the-workforce applicants. Our representatives guide members through various healthcare questions and assist providers in identifying covered benefits for their patients. Communication is largely by phone or email, however, our representatives may attend business functions or company healthcare information sessions as a part of our responsibility. You will assist members by explaining their benefits, solving claim concerns, finding a provider nearby, or helping them make educated decisions about where they will seek their healthcare. You will strive first call resolution, and build strong, trusting relationships with our members and the provider community. Successful CSR I Reps may advance to higher level authority/responsibility including
CSR II, CSR

Qualifications Needed:
- No previous healthcare experience required; 2 years of customer service experience is preferred Partner with the Sales Staff to provide clients with service as outlined in the client Administrative Agreement, Summary Plan Document and Summary of Benefits.
Provide timely and accurate responses to requests from customers on general claims, including occasional phone coverage for FSA and HRA. Work closely with the Claims Analysts on claim payment inquiries. Work closely with the Client Services/Funding Department to resolve claim payment errors Effectively and accurately communicate with providers, clients and participants in oral and written form Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or concerns Ability to work any 7.5 hour shift between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday What benefits can we offer you? - A High School Diploma or GED is required with up to 1 year of previous experience in a customer service environment preferred OR college degree or any combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, listening and computer skills
- Experience in research and resolution of high level/sensitive customer service issues
