Note:
New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market. Track inbound product from manufacturing facilities to 3PL distribution centers, and outbound product from 3PL distribution centers to distributor partners to ensure fulfillment of customer orders and manage to Talking Rain Case Fill KPI targets. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, 3PL distribution centers, and the Talking Rain Sales team for a designated customer ship-to region. Oversee the Rain Maker customer order process, including order creation (both EDI and manual), release, planning and delivery. Manage OOS (out of stocks) and the order allocation process, communicating ongoing shortages to our customers and Sales team as necessary. Validate and verify lead-time and order status throughout all systems—Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management System (TMS) or Warehouse Management System (WMS). Partner with our Sales, Planning, 3PL and Quality teams to ensure customer demand and performance targets are met. Create and present Sales with quarterly customer performance slides
- to be leveraged in customer meetings and discussions.
Reconcile sales cycle information for end-of-month processes. Work closely across the organization to ensure vendor product compliance and service level targets are met to avoid customer chargebacks. Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, notifying immediate supervisor of any food safety and/or quality issues. Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of Supply Chain experience, ideally within consumer-packaged goods (CPG). Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Exposure to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management System (TMS) or Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred. Highly effective in communication across cross-departmental teams and a variety of levels resulting in quality decision-making and efficient resolutions. Consistently remains focused, cool, and professional under high stress. Does not overreact to bad news or situations and is able to think clearly and make quality decisions. Identifies underlying or hidden problems and actively solves difficult problems and mitigates roadblocks to ensure results, actively seeks out tough assignments and opportunities to work on self-development and actively uses support from other stakeholders to impact and influence within their role.
